Senior lockers!

A huge thank you to Christy Hansen who has done our Senior Lockers for Senior night for the last couple of years. She does a marvelous job and the kids are always so excited to see them. I often wonder where she gets these great ideas, but she never ceases to amaze me. We are very proud of our seniors and of the dedication and loyalty they bring to the school. They are great students, and always make me proud to say they are from Murtaugh!!

JR High Volleyball FINALE

Today. we got to travel on the bus to the beautiful Community School in Ketchum. We made one little pit stop at the rest area where each girl had to have a "ticket" to get back on (beautiful fall leaves). After a scenic drive we arrived at the school and were greeted by their coach and Athletic Director. They were very nice, it was pleasant to be treated so well. Our girls played great and we were so glad to finish the season with such a great game. Well most of us grabbed another "Ticket" and headed to the bus, when lo and behold who is swinging on the swings but Coach, Mrs. Crystal and a few of the girls. Well I headed with the camera and she jumped off, trying to do this graceful little landing, much to her surprise it was about 3 inches of mulch and she slid and landed on her behind(She knows I am sharing this). She did do the tada with her arms totally pretending like she meant too. When we got back on the bus she made the girls sit with different people than they usually do and told them they had to find 5 animals and 3 scarecrows before they could switch. It was fun and we even played too. Took Paige and Monica clear till Shoshone to see a cat, although Mrs. Crystal and I cheated and counted a dead one on the road, desperate times call for desperate measures. It was a great time as you can tell by the pictures. They are a great bunch of kids, thanks to Deb for enduring all of these bus trips!!

VOLLEYBALL SR. NIGHT

Tonight the Varsity girls played their game against Dietrich. It was also Sr. night, we have some great Sr. girls, Lanelle Simmons, Niki Huizar, Ashley Bridges, & Jera Adams. We were able to honor them and their parents. It was a great season for the girls as they continue into tournaments this weekend. We are very proud of how the Srs. and the team represented our town and school. A huge thanks to Mr. Wright & Drue, for their dedication and work with these girls. I often heard how fun this year was for them. Now on to tournaments!! Good Luck Girls!
