8th Grade Play.... The Story Of Anne Frank

The 8th graders have been studying the Holocaust this year. Their wonderful teacher Ms. Ainsworth challenged and encouraged them as a class to do the play about Anne Frank and her family while they were in hiding.

The class worked very hard for months studying their lines and preparing. They finally preformed the play last week for the Middle School and the 5th graders.

Here are some random pictures.

This was the first experience for many if not all of these kids to be in a play and they did awesome!

Great job guys!!!

Murtaugh VS Dietrich and VIP Night

Well we had an awesome evening. I am so proud of the way it turned out. After a lot of work by all our High School students and Mrs Perkins the VIP night went off very smoothly. The students at Murtaugh are amazing and I am honored to even associate with them.
I don't post scores but there is no way to tell you what a great game this was tonight without seeing the score. The winning basket happened in the last second. The boys from both teams played and exhibited such great sportsmanship and talent. I am so proud of how well they played.
